CM and Clomid

I know that clomid is supposed to dry up CM, but I am on my last day taking clomid, days 5-9, and for the the last two days I've had a lot of CM. Not quite eggwhite yet, but a little stretchy and slippery. This hasn't happened to me before, and I'm worried that I may ovulate before I go in for my ultrasound on Wednesday (cd 14).

Has this happened to anyone else?

Could it be semen residuals? Sorry if that sounds like a dumb question...I haven't mastered decoding my CM and haven't started Clomid yet either. Just a thought.

Not likely, but always possible. Is there any way you can move up your first u/s a couple days?

I know a lot of people have those issues (being dried up on clomid) but I always have lots of CM for almost a week after taking it.

I know for some people it can make your CM too thick. This is my first round, and I am taking Mucinex to help even things out. For me, it's too early to know how it's working. Are you monitoring with OPKs or charting? Do you have any other signs of O?

i am charting, and today my temp was a bit higher than normal. It was 97.8 and it usually hovers around 97.3 to 97.5. But I didn't sleep well last night, and took it with less than 3 consecutive hours sleep. I woke up about an hour before I had to take it, fell back to sleep, woke up again, and then took it. MAybe I will call RE tomorrow AM and try to get my ultrasound moved up. Thanks everyone!
