My DD started liking her swing around 6 weeks. Now she will just quietly swing and will also sleep in it sometimes during the day. It is really nice.

Mine started using it right away (during our first week home). He really like it. The swing has a mobile and a mirror attached and he loves to look at himself. He smiles all the time while in the swing.

I would put her in it when she was about a month when I showered and things because I could hook her in when she was awake and I had to get some things done. She loved it, still does.
