Low levels again...Injection questions?

I got my progesterone results yesterday from my OB.  I've been on Clomid only, had a HSG, and last month had levels of 7.4 (previous being .5, .7, 1.7, etc.)  So I was hopeful this month that we'd be up there.  Doctor called, and I'm back to .7?!  What is going on?!

 Now my OB (if I'm not PG this month...judging from the levels...I'm not getting my hopes up) wants to do Clomid w/either an injection of Repronex or Ovridel.  Wondering if anyone can tell me of their experiences with this?  Where do you inject and any adverse side effects?  Other than the weight gain, I really haven't had severe mood swings, etc from the Comid...so I'm nervous about lashing out at DH on injections! :)

Any advice I can get is great.  I'm trying to stay positive...but it gets hard, doesn't it?!

    based on your progesterone levels, save the 7.4, you're not ovulating.  you might want to ask for some additional blood testing to find out maybe why you're not ovulating. and i think i speak for most of the board when i say that you need to get yourself to an RE before you do any more Clomid cycles and especially before you do any injectable cycles.

    Yes, I know I'm not ovulating.  They believe it's due to my cysts on my ovaries. (PCOS like, but not the syndrome)  I have also never had a normal cycle.  As for the RE, I'm okay with my OB for now....It hasn't been a year yet, so I don't think a RE would even see me yet.

    I'm not sure what additional blood testing they could do?  Thank you for the reply!

    have you had testosterone, insulin, thyroid function tests, etc drawn?  PCOS is not diagnosed only by the traditional polycystic (ring of pearls) on the ovaries.
