Another hsg question...

I had hsg Tuesday... some spotting, lots of cramping. Wednesday, no spotting but still some cramping, especially when I walked alot. Today I woke up VERY sore with enough spotting that I had to put a pad on. Is this normal???

    I had a lot of cramping, but no spotting. You should probably call RE just to be safe. Feel better!

    i would call your re.  i never had spotting past the day of my hsg, and it was very light.

    better to be safe than sorry.

    just had mine tuesday.  Lots of spotting (required a pad) on the day of and first half of day after and minor cramping.  I'd call the dr just to be sure.  3 days post seems a little late for that much discomfort.

    I had mine this morning and they told me that if the cramping or spotting/bleeding lasted longer than a day or so or didn't go away by taking Tylenol (the pain) than I needed to see a doctor right away and not wait til Monday. They said that it's rare but that you can get an infection from the iodine that needs to be treated right away. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.
