No trigger with IUI?

Is it possible that I won't do a trigger shot with an IUI? Last time my RE scheduled me for an IUI (1.5 years ago), I was given my prescription to fill for the shot that afternoon as a just in case my blood work came back good. This time, no prescription as a "just in case". I've got a 17mm follicle on my right, and my lining is at 8. Sounds like he's going to have me come in tomorrow or Sunday, waiting for the b/w to come back.

    did your re do b/w at your most recent appt? 

    if your e2 is high and rising then your body is probably gearing up to "o" on its own, so you wouldn't need a trigger shot.

    Yes,I'm waiting on my b/w results from today's appointment. Today is CD11 but last month I went on CD14 I had already O'd, like on my way to the appointment my RE was convinced. Hence my earlier cycle appt today. Fingers crossed I'll O on my own, that helps tremendously, thanks Susan.
