If a woman is pregnant, the amount of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) in her system should be around 25 mIU at 10 dpo (days past ovulation), 50 mIU at 12 dpo, 100 mIU at around two weeks dpo. Blood tests can determine pregnancy as low as between 5 to 10 mIU/hCG, though with levels of 5 mIU, a confirmed determination of pregnancy cannot be made without risking a ?false positive? because as low levels Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) can be present in the body without pregnancy.

Re: interesting about PG tests
Wow that's really interesting, especially since 1st Response touts that they can detect up to 5 days sooner (before AF). I always bought 1st response 1) because of that and 2) because they sell them in a bigger package at Costco. I guess it doesn't really matter after all...going for the cheapies next time
Thanks for the info!
I think that FRER number is from their older version. The new ones detect around 25 (my last pregnancy, I went in for bloodwork and I was only at 27 and it was detected that morning with a FRER). It is great, though, that the cheapies are so sensitive.
I got it here when I was questioning my BFN to no avail.

I meant GOT IT, not GO TIT like I'm cheering for my breast.
ok, this literally made me spit water out of my mouth on my keyboard, monitor and papers in front of me. LOL.....
Haha that was funny and just made me crack up.
Last time I was pregnant and had a CP, I used a FRER and my beta was only 11 so I think they are a lot more sensitive.
I think there is a regular FR and a FRER. I don't know, I use the little strips so I can pretend to see things in different lighting.
The TIT thing was not my fault, even spell check wouldn't have caught that
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO LMAO.
