2 showers and a Bday party- kinda long!

Please- point me to nearest bridge, so I can jump off it! Today they are throwing a Manshower for a guy at our office who's wife is due any day now. While I think its a nice gesture- but is a manshower really necessary? he hasnt even worked here a year, its not like hes a lifetime employee that everyone knows and loves, and hes WEIRD- everyone talks about him. His office is right next to mine- so the past few days I get updates on how many centimeters his wife is dilated. I am going to go have a piece of cake hand him my gift and go back to my office- I have work to do its the end of the month! (not really but its a good excuse to leave)

Then on Sunday there is another girl in my office who is pg with twins (no fertility treatments needed) its her shower- luckly I got out of that due to a family birthday party, but I still got elected to make the gift basket from a bunch of us at the office- I make baskets so they asked me, that was fun, making a basket of all the cute baby stuff that I want for myself. It was torture.

The family party that I have to go to on sunday is my newphews first birthday party, wouldnt be so bad if everyone there didnt have kids and there will be a pg woman there, its her 5th, yes you read that correctly 5th child!

So what a weekend! lots of babies! I hope its over soon. god my IVF cant get here fast enough!
