Infertility

accupuncture in Philadelphia/Bucks/Montgomery County

Anyone know of a good accupuncture place in this area?  I am going to give in and give it a try.  I would love recommendations if you have any.  Thank you!

Re: accupuncture in Philadelphia/Bucks/Montgomery County

  • I am not from your area, but I googled "acupunture, infertility, city name" and got some hits.

From there I read some reviews, went to a few websites and found someone I felt would be a "fit" for me. Good Luck!

  • Depending on where in Montgomery County you are located, Dr. Guo in Bryn Mawr is wonderful. She has books of photos, and more posted on her wall, of women who have gone to her and overcome infertility. Now that I'm trying again, I'm going to start going back to her.  610-526-9598.

  • I live in Warrington, Pa.  But have easy access to the PA turnpike.  I will definately look up Dr. Guo. I just want someone who specializes infertility.  How expensive is it?  thank you, again

  • If you have Blue Cross/Blue Shield I know she gives a discount for their "Healthy Lifestyles" program (I think that's what it's called). I want to say each visit was about $50 (down from $65), plus the cost of herbal supplements.  I think the most I paid was around $86 for a visit because I needed all the pills because of my fertility issues. Oh, and if you have flex spending, most will reimburse you for the full cost, I know mine did, ADP.

She was really sweet, she does specialize in fertility, as well as other things, but she spent about a week in London at a seminar that was entirely on the benefits of accupuncture and infertility. She gave me a lot of reading materials after that.
