TTC After a Loss

how much folic acid are you taking?

well I don't think I am taking enough.  I just looked at my B complex vitamin and it only has 800mcg and my prenatal has 400mcg.  Should I add another vitamin to the mix?

Re: how much folic acid are you taking?

  • I take 800 because that is what is in my prenatal vitamins that my doctor told me to stay on after my miscarriage

My PNV has 800mcg and I take an additional 400 mcg every day.
  • I've been taking Duet DHA EC and it has 1 mg folic acid (1mg = 1000mcg). Obviously, I can't tell you if it's doing any good or not, but so far it has been the only pre-natal I found that I can stomach :)
