Summer Infant Handheld Video Monitor

Mine has had lots of static lately.  It actually wakes me up in the middle of the night and it gets worse when I move!!!  What can I do to fix this???  It is driving me nuts!!!

    Does it have different channels? ?If so try a different channel. ?That worked when our video monitor started to freak out. ?HTH!

    Also, if it has different channels (our has A and B) make sure the handset and the camera are both on the same channel. Every once in a while I'll switch it on the wrong way and it will get staticy.

    If none of these suggestions work, call the company.  I just had problems with mine and they are sending me a new one.  They send you a fedex label to send your problem one back in.  They have great customer service!!!

    I've heard these sometime interfere with WiFi in your house - is the camera or handheld part anywhere near your modem/router?  We had the problem a while back but it eventually stopped, but our friends got rid of theirs all together.

    Ditto on calling the company to get it worked out - GL!
