How long did it take for your LO to take the bottle?

Did it take days? weeks? did you try with breastmilk first and then formula? We've tried 2 nights in a row and no luck. Any tips or advice would be great! Thanks so much :)

    I'm no help . . . my DD took it right away; however, my DH gave her the bottle at first. I've read that if you are nursing a baby may reject a bottle from mom.

    DD took a bottle of EBM from my MIL yesterday with no problem! i purposely didn't give it to her for reason pp mentioned. just keep on trying!

    I don't know if this really helped since DS took his bottle w/o a problem, but we used The First Years Breastflow bottle which it says is more like the sucking and compression that LO uses for breastfeeding.

    It took weeks with my DS - until we could find the right bottle he liked, then he took it like a champ.  My DD is doing the same thing to us right now, we've tried every different way and 6 different bottles and she still just has a screaming fit at anything that's not "the real thing"

    She seems to do best when she's not really hungry. Try feeding first then offer the bottle at the end.
