I have to say we tried and then hit the 4 month wakeful.. He seems pretty content right now with it, but I watch his cues for tiredness... I am hoping by 6 month I can start getting him in bed by 7;30 -8 pm.
I guess all I can say is watch for cues that your lo is tired. Somedays we do get him in bed by 8:30 but that's not usually the norm. Good luck! Is your lo STTN yet, or is that what you are tiring to get started?
He had been around 2.5 months, but we traveled, then 3 mo growth spurt, then travel around 4 months, and 4 month wakeful...SO, we're trying to get back to the (at least) 5-6 hr stretches. ?Do you BF or FF? ?Also, how long does your LO (cute, btw!) stay up between naps? ?How many naps does he take?

Thanks! Got to love the growth spurts and 4 month wakeful. Your son is so cute, I love his St. Patty's Day shirt!
I ff ds... He usually has 1 or 2 1hours naps, and a couple of cat naps and goes 2 -4 hours between naps. He sometimes has cat naps though when we are out and about, but he hates sleeping when there is stuff going on around him.
I don't know if ff helps keep him more full overnight, but he drinks about 36 oz a day right now, and I've been told to start him on solids at 5 months, so we'll see if that does anything either way with his sleep schedule.
Good luck! I hope he starts sleeping again for you soon..
