NT3CR-I'm such a loser

There is big old van parked outside my house with someone in it.  It has been out there for hours and it was totally freaking me out.  I haven't even taken a shower...I was that nervous.  I called DH and he called the police.  The officer just came by and talked to him then came to my door (jeez thanks for letting the guy know that we called).  Anyhow, he said it's the driver for the Amish, who are working on a house a few streets away.  He is out there studying for a nursing exam. 

Ugh, I feel so stupid now.  The officer said he was glad I called but I still feel like a dork!  BTW: I would still like him to go park elsewhere.

Thanks for listening to my irrational fear.

    That's not stupid, I would probably do the same thing. Especially for a van...there is just something always creepy about vans:)

    You're not a dork, its really smart to be wary of something unusual like that. ?My DH would totally have called the cops too. ?Much better to be safe than sorry.

    I laughed at your post, I would do the exact same thing.  I believe I have told you this before but we too have built a home recently and still have a lot of ongoing construction in our subdivision.  We have a lot of Amish workers too and their drivers are always hanging out in the neighborhood in their vans.  You just never know, I would have done the exact same thing.

    Thanks for making me feel better. Smile    

    I guess it might not bother me so much if he wasn't sitting in a spot where he can see right into the sliding glass doors.  We are on a corner lot and he is parked on the side of our house.  We are the very last house, as the the rest of the street is still empty. 

    OK I will try to relax now.  Thanks again!
