This is a group for women who have elevated/high or borderline FSH. I will try to post weekly on Thursdays or Fridays. If you are not on this list yet and want to be part of this check-in, please just respond and I'll add you to the list!  Good luck to you all!

This week?s questions:

1) How are you doing? Give us an update on this cycle.

2) Have been successful in lowering your FSH? If so, how?

Re: *~*~High FSH Check-In*~*~

  • 1. Just waiting for DE cycle in June.  Hurry up June!

     2.  Well, mine did go form 80 to 50, but it's still not a desireable FSH!  LOL.  I was doing acu and lots of supplements during that time, so I'm not sure if that's what did it or is was just natural fluctuations. I haven't had it tested for quite some time because it just depressed me.

  • 1) How are you doing? Give us an update on this cycle.  I'm doing pretty good.  Today is cd 27, I am currently 13dpiui and I am not supposed to test until Monday, but I might cave and test on Sunday.  I go thru stages where I truly believe I am pg, but then the next moment I think it didn't work.

    2) Have been successful in lowering your FSH? If so, how?   My FSH level has only been tested once by my RE and that was at my request and it came back at 20 which is not a good #.  The RE does not seem to concerned about it, but it is always in the back of my mind.  I have no idea of how to try and lower my FSH, but I am open to any suggestions if you would like to share.   :)

  • 1) How are you doing? Give us an update on this cycle. My body seems to be working better since my lap which removed endo from my ovaries (among other places!). I'm going in tomorrow to confirm ovulation - I'm only on CD10, though, but it seemed that I had mature follicles and my lining looked ok. My body just never seems to make sense... of course I'll take o'ing early over not o'ing at all!??2) Have been successful in lowering your FSH? If so, how? My FSH this CD3 (first monitored since lap) was 3! My estrogen was a bit high though. I definitely noticed changes in my body after my lap, and I believe I o'd last cycle (unmonitored) too. I don't believe much is known about the connection between FSH and endo, but I think for me there is a definite correlation. I just hope the endo didn't do too much damage and I have quality eggs left. I might be headed to IVF soon though.?

  • 1) Well, I am 6dpIUI.  Half way done the 2ww.  Fingers Crossed, but not trying to get my hopes up.

    2) I was taking wheatgrass for a while.  I never saw a change in my FSH.  It  actually started to go up from 9 to 11 so I stopped.  I also have endo and believe there is a connection between the two.  My left ovary was attached to my pelvic wall and had to be lasered away from it.  Before the surgery that ovary was a poor responder to stims.  Now it has been beating the right.

    Good Luck, girls!!!!

After 2 years TTC with mild endo and an elevated FSH. We were successful with our second IUI after Lap surgery. Our daughter born 12/2009. Currently trying for #2. IUI#1-miscarriage, IUI #2-BFN, IUI #3- BFP Pregnancy Ticker
