AF Question

I know its been asked before but how long after your m/c did AF show up? I am still waiting but I don't know exactly what date to use for when I actually m/c. Do I use the day I first started spotting, ( I spotted for a week), or the first day of the heaviest flow? This is so confusing.  Sad  Thanks.
