Need Opinions.. PIP

I am making a name plate for my LO and I can't decide if I like the S in yellow... I thought it would go with the Stars that will be on the end but I just don't know..

What do you think?

I dont know what your room looks like but the yellow is cute... if i were to take one out maybe the black... but like i said i dont know what your room looks like : they look nice though

LO will be in our bedroom - We have dark marroon walls and cherry wood furniture with cream colored accents... and the J is actually a dark brown. His crib is going to be cherry wood and his comforter set is cream, brown, tan and white.

Thanks ladies... I like being crafty!

I learned quickly that I cannot paint in straight lines.. thats why I have all circles.. much easier to use a q-tip!

are there yellow accents in other parts of the room? I can see if this is the only spot with yellow- the S might stick out a bit with the other colors being al blue/brown, etc- but it really depends.

There are yellow accents in his bedding, but after really seeing it now I am definatly going to lighten the shade a few notches to bring it down to more of a pasel color and change up the accent dots with the darker brown and the blue to bring in the colors more.

It is no way done, I still have the ribbons and wall hanger to complete tonight, Ill post the finished product soon!

I think they look great, but the yellow really does stand out a lot. Are you going to paint the stars in the same yellow?
