Pregnant after a Loss

how bad is it to not be sleeping?

My DD (who used to STTN beautifully) is now going through a phase of being up all night long. It is taking a toll on all of us. I am so beyond exhausted and I am starting to worry about my other little baby.

Do you think the new baby can grow properly if I'm not getting enough sleep? Could this be hurting the baby? I don't know what I'm going to do!

  • I think it will be fine. But I hope Avery start cooperating soon!

  • I don't know the definitive answer to this, but I think the toll is more likely to be on your body, than on baby bahama's body.  You're tired because your body is doing a lot more than it used to do.  That's my sense, anyway.

But I can't imagine how difficult this must be for you.  Do you have any relatives around who might be willing to come over for a few hours once or twice a week to let you get a nap in?  Can DH take over on the weekends so you can get some sleep?  Hang in there - I hope it gets better soon!
