Pregnant after a Loss

Anyone's nausea just go away?

For the past two weeks I have been REALLY struggling with nausea all day every day.  Then all the sudden yesterday I get up and I can eat again... and this morning the same.  I still feel picky (not normal for me) about what I want to eat... but I don't feel like I am going to throw up constantly anymore.  I even felt so good last night that I was able to have a decent light workout at the gym.  I'm not far enough along to think this is normal.  I keep reading other posts about not worrying too much about symptoms but I am feeling really paranoid now.  Did anyone else have the m/s come and go?

My last preg stopped developing at 7 weeks (discovered around 9/10 weeks).  I can't help but feel dread about this this week 7 of this preg.  Even though I just saw a good HB on Monday :(

  • I know you know symptoms can come and go. If it makes you feel better, can you call and ask to go in? My doctor told me after I had my missed m/c that I could call and come in whenever I wanted just if I was worried. I didn't even have to be spotting.

Good luck hon. I know it's scary, but remember the odds are that everything is fine.

Mine went totally away after about 8/9 weeks and it hasn't come back. (knock on wood)

  • Mine is coming and going, and it's much milder than last time. I know it's not an indication of how well the pg is going, because I learned at 8wks that the baby had stopped growing at 6w2d, but it kept a heartbeat, and I kept feeling all of the first tri symptoms until 12wk, when it finally ended and the dr could schedule a d&c. I know I'm really nervous about my u/s coming on Monday because it's at the same time we had issues with the last one,  but we just have to take deep breaths and have faith; you're not alone :)

  • I am as far along as you and I feel the same way.  The last 2 days I have been able to keep my eyes open past 10 pm and watch TV ( feel totally normal, not super exhausted) and I have had afternoon/evening nausea ( unable to eat dinner, food aversions)  and the last 2 nights it seemed a lot better....it too makes me nervous. I don't really remember with DD, I know I had food aversions and some nausea in the beginning but I know it didn't last until 12 weeks. So hopefully this is normal for us :) Hang in there!!
