HELP - did i screw up?

So last night I had to do my HCG injection for IVF#1, I was told by both my dr. office and pharmacy that the HCG they were giving me was a sub q injection so I followed the instructions and gave myself the shot, then I started picking up to throw away all the trash and for some reason I looked down at the vial and in very small print it said "for IM injection only". Did I totally screw up or can it really be given either way?

I went over all my meds so many times how could I have missed that. It even can with the mixing needle (IM) and the sub q to change to.

I am totally freeking out. Somebody please help. Thanks

  • OMG thank you so much for your fast response, I have freaking out all night, I am so glad the tummy shot was OK
  • My trigger was IM. I've never heard of a sub-q trigger. But if your doctor said sub-q, I assume he/she knows best.
