She put herself to sleep tonight...

We were sitting on the floor playing with our toys. Joe made a comment, "She looks really tired." I look up at the clock and it's about 7:30pm. I usually won't put her to sleep until about 8pm.

Then all of a sudden, Katie stands up and says, "Night Night"- well her version of it, more like "Ni Ni" She then proceeds to walk into her room and stand next to her crib.

I change her into pj's and she was out like a light within 5 mins. The easiest bedtime routine ever!

It's so cute when that happens. Justin did it two nights in a row a couple of weeks ago. It truly is a dream that they recognize they're sleepy and want to go to bed!

That is so funny! Ethan has started doing something similar too, walking to the steps when he's ready for bed. He walks in his room and presses the play button on the cd player too! (We play lullaby music during the night). Kids are so funny!
