Success after IF

When did you "feel" it?

If you did IVF, at what point did you "feel" something? Maybe felt a little different, felt like there was something in there? When and what did you feel? I had 2 transferred on Monday. As of today, I don't feel anything and I'm super paranoid because I've had a lot (as we have all had) of phone calls when the dr says "Sorry, not this time." I'm just looking for a little sign I guess! I had some cramping a few days following but I think that was still soreness from the retrieval. Now my chest is breaking out with all these tiny little whiteheads, seriously like 20-30 of them. Teeny tiny things. I find out Wednesday but this is just driving me crazy!

Re: When did you "feel" it?

  • Well not sure how helpful I will be, but I felt nothing.  I felt way more in all my other 2WW's.  I was waiting for some kind of sign or feeling, and it never came.  I POAS at 8dp 3dt only because I wanted a cocktail and needed proof that it was okay.  I was happily sober that night : )

    GL to you!!!!

  • Sorry, but I didn't feel anything either. I had some cramping the day after ET and that's about it. I expected to feel sick, tired, sore boobs, anything!! But I didn't. My m/s kicked in around 6.5 weeks. Hang in there!! Good luck!
  • I had cramping since the day of the transfer and it hasn't stopped since!  Granted, at first it was because of the transfer then once pregnant it was because of that.
  • sorry, I sent it too soon

you said you had some cramping, that's good after the transfer.  I hope this is your BFP!  Try not to read into things too much because everything is in hindsight!

  • I didn't feel any different either.  I never had m/s my boobs were only sore for a few days and that went away.  Besides being more tired than usual I felt great through most of my pregnancy.  I didn't feel pg until I started feeling the baby move.

Good luck!  I hope this cycle is it for you!

  • Omg, what a cute baby. She's a heart melter!
  • My et was on 2-22 and they transfered 2 embies. I got my bfp on 3-6 and I was 100% convinced that af was on her way as I was incredibly crampy w/ what I thought was af cramps.

Im 7 wks pg today and I still don't feel anything other than some slight cramping off and on. I had my 1st u/s today and everything is right on track.

Im not really any help, sorry.

  • I also didn't feel anything any different from any of my other medicated cycles.  I did have a zit on my shoulder at about 7dp3dt that I was sort of hopeful about as I had heard about people breaking out with a bfp and I very rarely had any "bacne"......it was just one zit but it did give me some hope and unfortunately (or fortunately) it was followed by a break out after I got my BFP.

    Good luck!!!

  • I really didn't feel any different.?

My first two big symptoms were extreme, unquenchable thirst, and an out of control sense of smell. ?We had our Christmas tree up and I would go on and on to DH about how great our tree smelled this year - and he said it had no scent. ?These did not kick in until about a week and a few days after my transfer. ?

I had sore boobs at some point (can't remember) but I blamed that on the PIO so I tried not to pay attention to it.

    ?

    Good luck!!!?

  • Like pps, I didn't feel anything. No symptoms, nothing to think it was going to be a bfp other than hope! I didn't test before my beta either, so i truly had no idea what the phone call would say. And I didn't feel any m/s until about 7-8 weeks. Good luck on your beta...I hope this is it for you!!

  • I didn't feel anything. I actually thought nothing worked and was crying all weekend before taking beta test.
