Babies: 9 - 12 Months

If DS doesn't learn to crawl soon...

...we're all going to lose it. This kid could not be more frustrated by his lack of mobility. He spends most of the day looking at toys or objects he want grunting, yelling and crying in frustration. The tantrums are nearly constant. The only good thing is that all of this tantrum-ing is wearing him out and he's been sleeping great, knock on wood.

Seriously, DS, please learn to crawl or move somehow. Get over the bad temper and lack of patience you won from me in the genetic lottery and just do it. I can't take the tantrums any more!

  • Everytime I see your siggy I mean to tell you that I think your boy is beautiful!

My guy is the same way with the crawling attempts. He generally just gives up, throws his big head to one side and does an upside down worm to get what he needs. It looks painful.

  • And I say... ditto.  Except my DS rolls to everything so he doesn't tantrum so often.  Does your DS roll?  Poor thing... (both of you!)

  • Your ds is only 2 days older than my DD and she isn't crawling yet either.  SHe's not even up and swaying back and forth.  She will however stand for a long time playing with toys.

  • My DD was making no attempt to crawl at 10 months and I was starting to worry then at 10 month 1 week exactly she took off like she has been crawling forever! It was the wierdest thing. Good Luck, hopefully it will happen soon!

  • DD is the same way. However she gets frustrated in her crib which makes naps/bedtime difficult.
