I bought a pretty expensive one for DS#1 (can't remember the brand) and got some free ones from the hospital and with various promotions, but BY FAR the greatest diaper bag I ended up getting wasn't even designed to be a diaper bag.
It's a regular LeSportSak fabric bag that has three big zipper pockets on the outside (great for keys, pacifiers, hand sanitizer, stuff you need to get to quickly), one on the inside (good for your wallet), and lots of room on the inside. It also comes with a little separate zipper pouch that I use to put snacks and stuff in. I just bought a little fold-up changing pad and that's all I needed to make it a bona-fide diaper bag. From my experience, the reason why it worked better than others is when diaper bags are too structured (boxy with a hard bottom) it's hard to stuff them in the basket of the stroller when you have other stuff in there, but this one is really squishy and always seems to have more room in it than you'd expect for its size.
The best part about it is that it's really cute and when I'm running somewhere without the baby I don't feel like I'm lugging a diaper bag. I actually feel sort of stylish.
I like the JuJube bags because they are functional not too big and you can get them in a variety of different colors or patterns and sizes. However, again they are about 120 dollars so it depends on what price range you are looking for
Another vote for the jujube bags. They hold up well. I have a couple of them but my favorite is the between. It isn't to big but I can still pack a whole days worth of stuff when I need to.

OiOis are cute too, though!
