How many cycles did it take to get pregnant after losing one of your tubes? And what did you have to do to get pregnant again...any treatments or did you get pregnant naturally? I got pregnant with an ectopic pregnancy on my first Follistim with IUI cycle. My RE said we could do 2 more Follistim/IUI cycles since I had gotten pregnant so quickly that way and then if I don't get pregnant we'll move on to IVF. Thanks!!
Re: success after losing a tube?
i'm sorry for your loss
i had an ectopic in june - had surgery to remove the pregnancy, but was able to keep both tubes. i was very lucky to get pregnant right away on our first cycle TTCAL.
there are a bunch of girls on this board with success after ectopic - with a wide variety of stories to share. hopefully you'll hear from some other girls who have lost a tube. big HUGS to you and i hope IUI does the trick for you! good luck!

I had my left tube removed in Nov and got PG in Jan, which was my 1st cycle after the ectopic. It was a lot quicker than I expected. I was surprised my DR said I could start trying again so soon. I would definitely suggest to anyone not to start trying again until you have your DRs go-ahead.
My tube was removed in April of last year. I had a normal cycle in both May and June. I got PG on my July cycle. We weren't trying b/c I was waiting to start another IVF in August. That was after 2 years TTC, a m/c, and a failed IVF! So it is possible for it to happen quickly!
