  • Seriously. When I read that post, I was wondering if people actually feed less frequently than that. I am pretty sure my baby never even makes it to 3 hours! And at 1-2 weeks, my baby was eating every 1.5 to 2 hours. Sometimes every hour.

  • Oh dear lord.  That's going to be a rude awakening for someone me thinks!
  • I don't know if DS ever goes three hours -- except for maybe a few nights when he has slept for a four hour stretch. I'm sure we feed at least every 2 hours during the day still.
  • giggle

My DD still eats every 3-4 hours.  But she is STTN so it's a fair trade.  I don't get how you can ignore your child when he/she is screaming because they're hungry!

Did I ever tell you that our NICU nurse told us not to let her eat every hour b/c she'll "get used to it"??

yea, that went right out the window at the first growth spurt!

I am starting to think that some nurses are just idiots.

And those posts about not feeding their babies just piss me off.
