[obvious TMI] What does your DCs poop look like?

The pedi thinks DS isn't getting enough breastmilk and wants me to start supplementing.  He says his poop should still be yellow, watery, and seedy.  But his has been "solid" ever since we started on solids a few months ago.  We cloth diaper and it is easily "ploppable" into the toilet.  So for some unscientific Nestie research:

How old is your DC?

How many solid meals/breastfeedings do they get a day?  Or formula?

What is their poop like?

Sorry if this is gross, but I'm very curious now.  Thanks!  :)

  • Here you go.

How old is your DC? 7mos this sunday

How many solid meals/breastfeedings do they get a day? two meals of solids

Or formula? 4-5 6oz bottles per day

What is their poop like? generally green and pasty, but depending on what he had for dinner it can have an orangy color with some whitish spots( i'm guessing from bananas and sweet potato)

    2- 3 solid meals a day about 6 BF in 24 hours

Poop- sounds like your LO's.  If its too hard I give pear juice and it softens it.

Now I am a little concerned.

We do solids for lunch and dinner. And I am not sure on the amount of bm he gets (EBF) however he nurses about 20-25 minutes about 4-6x a day (hes a hass)

What is their poop like?  Um his is very squishy but not like yellow as you described. It isn't "solid" like you described either. It is very soft but ranges from like a greenish-brownish to orangeish. I think it depends what table foods he has ate for that day.

    HTH and GL!
