I think I like this name so I would like opinions please! Is this name popular where you live?

    Its NMS, but I've never known anyone in real life with this name. Because of that, all my associations with that name are from tv and movies, and somehow the name Jade always seems to go to the tough, mean girl or a stripper.

    Maybe if you put it with a softer, more feminine middle name they would balance each other out.

    I think Jade is a pretty name. Your daughter's personality will make the name what it is.

    My cousin just named his daughter Jocelyn Jade. It's definitely not my favorite, but it's not bad.?

    i LOVE the name jade!!! ?it's not so popular around here, well, not that i ever hear anyway. ?i live in los angeles. ?my friend has two girls, jade and sage. ?love those names!!!

    I really don't like this name.  It sounds a little trashy to me.  I'm sorry.

    Edit:  I think the specific reason I don't like it is because it is a popular choice for stripper names around here.  And I hope I didn't hurt your feelings by calling your favorite name trashy.

    Nope no feelings are hurt. I am not sure it's my favorite. I really like it though... I appreciate the honesty!
