I know that I'm only supposed to use pads, but its been 8 weeks of bleeding. I started using tampons again on Monday. I couldn't take it anymore....is that bad? I can't find any info on google. I am just so freaking tired of pads...
I was told pads only after the m/c and was given the ok to use my diva cup after 2 weeks post-shot with the ectopic (I'd been bleeding for over 2 months at that point and couldn't take it anymore).
The risk is infections to what is essetially a gaping wound after a miscarriage (or delivery, for that matter) - ectopics treated with the shot are a little different, because surgery wasn't done and the tissue mostly dissolves.
Call your doc to be sure though, but I'd guess that at this point, you are probably ok.

I only bled for a week or so with each m/c and stuck with pads the whole time. I would say that if you aren't clotting too much and you change your tampon frequently...then it should be okay. But def check with your doc first.
