Telling the boss in an hour...

I know it's still early, but we decided to tell our friends after this morning's appointment - and since everyone I know is on Facebook (including my boss, my boss's boss, etc) - I figure I should tell the boss before the interwebs do.

I'm so nervous. I felt like a weirdo blurting "I'm pregnant" to a female coworker last week, but she needed to know since she's in charge of the project I'm working on, and I've had 3 docs appts in the past 4 days.

Huhhh. I know my face will turn bright red too. Embarrassed

Ugh.. I told my boss and it was completely awkward - he sat there and said nothing.. he did say congrats the next day (maybe when it sunk in??) but it was awful.

Good luck! I think all of us here are/were nervous when we tell/told our boss. I was actually shaking when I told mine (thought I don't think he noticed). Don't worry, the worst part of telling your boss you're pg is getting the first words out. You will feel 1000 times better once you've told him. Good luck!

Good luck! My boss was super supportive and always asks how I am feeling. The first time I didn't tell right away and I got the impression she was a little upset when I had a couple drs appts within a couple of weeks. It's always better to be upfront and honest with them.
