I'm calling places for estimates for carpet cleaning in our house. I came across this place. They claim that it dries in 1-2 hours, and they don't use soaps or harsh chemicals, but "crystal clear carbonating bubbles" instead.
Anyone? This is maybe a long shot.
Re: Anyone use Chem-Dry for carpet/furniture cleaning?
I have used them. They are who Home Depot subcontracts out to for carpet cleaning, although it will be much cheaper if you go directly through chem-dry and not home depot.

I had them do our basement and basements stairs (they were so dirty) and they did a great job - they could not use the special cabonating bubbles cleaning technique bc we have berber carpet down there, and it needs special cleaning. They did use the special cleaning on our area rugs in the loving room, family room, etc and it worked wonderfully and dried fast.
I was very pleased with them. Good luck!
Also keep in mind that they are all independently owned and operated, so one can suck and the next one we awesome. I know this bc they would not accept my coupon bc it was for a different chem-dry in the town over.
I did check them out on the Better Business Bureau website - since they are all independently owned and operated, each location has a seperate listing. https://www.bbb.org/
I got SCREWED on carpet cleaning a year ago by a different company, and got so burned. I checked that company out on the BBB website afterwards and they had tons of complaints so I learned my lesson the hard way. Thank god I paid via credit card and I filed a complaint and did not have to pay them.
