  We were in the same situation when our neighbors moved in and had their baby a few weeks later. We got them a basket that had fruit and snacks, etc.

  What about ediblearrangements.com? They can deliver fresh fruit to them and you just order it. Or you could make up a nice basket with some "must-haves" for the baby: a sleeper, onesie, hat, blanket, lotion, etc.

  The best thing someone could have done for me after Baby #2 came is run an errand or do something such as put my recycle bin back after pickup. Seriously! I know that might be hard to arrange, but time was the thing I needed most.

  One of my neighbors got me a balloon and card and the other got me an outfit for the baby. I thought both gifts were VERY sweet b/c we didn't know them very well.
