Everything is "mine, mine, mine"!!

How do I get that word out of her vocabulary! At first it was cute cause she learned a new word, but wow didn't think she could wear that word out. ?The pillow is hers, the remote, anything and everything. ?We just tell her "no Bella its not yours" or "you have to share" ?How long are they in this "mine" phase?? ?Forever???

  • I'm sure it's not cute, but for some reason my DD doesn't have that word in her vocabulary, so to read it online seems adorable!

I imagine she'll be in this phase for a while. :( Maybe if you stopped reacting as much, she'll move onto something else?

We will have to try that.?

  • Yeah, I think it's normal.  Most of the time I'd say, yes it is yours.  Or no it's mommy's.  It has died down some, now "moah" or "more" we here all day long.  I'm pretty sure she thinks it's the same thing as please so she says it whenever she wants something:)  Even though she can sign both more and please. Oh well.
