When I mentioned to my mom the table foods DD is eating, she asked if I was going to be one of those "crazy people" who don't let their kids have sugar. I said I wasn't crazy, but that there's no point in her having sugar right now if she's happy with fruits, veggies, and meats. So then my mom mailed me (yes, actually mailed a box from Indiana) of these little Rice Krispy bars for Leah to have a "treat." First ingredient: sugar.
I've had more dental work done in my life than I can to remember and I'm starting to think I can see where this began. How do I get my mom and MIL to back off my food choices? Doesn't basic common sense back this up? MIL was upset that I wasn't planning on feeding DD red meats like steak. Uh, she's not even 11 months old. Steak? Am I wrong here? Am I one of those crazy mothers and I'm just not seeing it?
