We were supposed to get them a stuffed bunny?

She has 2 stuffed lambs that were given to her... is that enough?

oh wait I just remembered we have 2 stuffed bunnies- I think I might have re-gifted one though.

We got WAY too many stuffed animals- they are the bane of my existence- no where to put them- so annoying!

LOL, me too. We have too too too many. She actually already has two stuffed bunnies b/c my mom got them when we were decorating her nursery in a Spring theme.

I'm making this little guy (in a hoodie) and a lamb (one of her free patterns) for Gabe this year. I'm going to try and make him a bunny every year- I might hold the lamb back for #2's first Easter, and do lambs for them.
She doesn't have any pre-made ones up right now- but, I swear, her patterns are the CUTEST things ever. And really easy to work!

that's what i had in mind. i wish she had some made up.

I absolutely agree- traditional cheapass MIC stuffed animals aren't allowed in our house anymore. But, these are less of a toy, and more of a decoration/tradition. They'll be put away every year and put out on display at Easter time. My grandmother did something similar for my siblings and me, and I have some very special memories from seeing the new addition to our collections every year.

exactly. ds doesn't have that many stuffed toys. i'd like to keep the tradition going that my mom did for us. we'd get a new bunny in our easter basket every year

Yeah, I didn't buy any of the the stuffed animals and I am not going to toss them, so that's what we have for now. I see no reason to add to the collection. Also my DC gets so many gifts- I am sure she will get something from one of her grandparents (she's the only grandchild for now) for Easter.
