Okay, We are moving forward with IVF#1 - we only have 3 to retrieve which will be on Sat 3/28 and if they fert, then we will have transfer on Monday.
My RE is considering this a test IVF to see if we can get any to fert. If not, then I guess we move on to a donnor egg.
Atleast I will know one way or the other on my eggs....seem even on a high drug protcol, I dont produce alot....low reserve due to age.
Keeping my fingers cross for my 3 little ones!

Re: IVF #1
good luck! I hope this works for you.
In case you are interested, there is a free phone seminar tomorrow night (Thurs, March 26 at 9pm Eastern) regarding low ovarian reserve. See link below to register.

Also, if this doesn't work, I know there are a few clinics that propose a low dose stim protocol for your situation. I have a friend who is trying it in a few months and hoping it works for her. At the most basic, non-technical level, my understanding is that a high dose stim protocol can "fry" your eggs. When you have very few eggs left, you obviously want to maximize their chances, so a low dose stim protocol sometimes works better. You do a low dose of follistim, gonal-f, etc. over a longer period of time - gently encouraging your eggs to grow slowly instead of bombarding them with mega doses of stim meds.
