TTC after 35

Peaking but no poking

Hi ladies,

So yesterday morning, on cd11, my CBEFM showed my first Peak day of the month.  I was thrilled because last month I had about 12 days of high without any peak...probably an annovulatory cycle.  The problem however is that my DH plays hockey on Tuesday evenings after work.  I asked him to come home right after the game instead of sticking around for a beer with the guys.  He agreed and was home for 7:30pm and was all smiles.

My poor DH tried and tried but he was just too tired.  I was crushed but didn't let him know to what extent.  We tried again this morning with no luck. (My DH gets up at 5am and starts work at 6:30am).  He was so upset that he couldn't perform and was so apologetic.

If today is my second peak day do you think we still have a chance if we bd tonight? We've already bd on cd7, cd9 and cd10 on high fertility days....just missed the first peak day on cd11.  Today, the 2nd peak day, cd12 is not over yet.

Wish us luck  Wink

PS - maybe I'll go rent a porno or something ...

Re: Peaking but no poking

  • Good luck. You should definitely try tonight. You probably are O'ing today so it's not the ideal situation but better than nothing. His boys just need to be fast once they get in there. The CD 9 and 10 BD's have a good shot at it too.

  • Go for it and good luck! Give the porn a go, why not? Big Smile
  • try again tonight

you've got some swimmers in there already, but I'd throw some in for extra measure if you can.

some months are just like that

    wishing you luck

and heck, ya, try some videos - anything at this point

  • The title of your post made me laugh!  I think you are probably Oing today so definitely give it a shot tonight.  Hope things go better!  (I am so glad I am a woman as I know I would have performance anxiety if I was a man TTC.  I mean really, it is a lot of pressure).  Also, I think the swimmers from cd9 and 10 have a good chance too.

  • Smile I love the title of your post.   I definatley think you have a shot tonight.  Remember your DH's swimmers can live for a few days so I think you will be good with the previous BD and the one tonight.  GL!
