Why do people call me before 10 am?!

They know I work second shift and sleep in damnit.  I should be glad a friend is calling to see how I am doing, but now I am up and cranky.

    Ditto. I never quite understand when people get upset about their phone ringing and waking them (or baby) up - if you don't want to hear it ring- turn it off... or on vibrate, etc.

    I never do - my 17 year old brother often calls me if he needs something, and I would hate to be unavailable to him since I am the only family here in town (He lives with a friends family until he graduates next year...long story!).  I'm a slave to my phone I swear!

    I don't turn off the home phone ever, but I do sometimes turn off the cell. My friends and I have an understanding that no one calls before 10 am though!  lol!  (My mom, however, forgets this at 8:30 a.m. on Saturdays. grrr!)
