Oh God I don't know what to do for 6 days

while my husband is gone at a conference in Little Rock ( who by the way host a conference in Little Rock?). I used to be so busy and absolutely fine when I was single and home alone but now its uncomfortable and I dread going to bed alone. I can't believe I'm basically co-dependent!

How does everyone else entertain themselves while husband is out of town! (mind you I have children)

I don't know how old your kids are, but when I was little and my dad traveled (which was often) my mom would order pizza, rent a movie and we would make a fort in the living room. It always made time with her more special.

My husband is frequently out of town for days for work. It stinks. I usually watch a movie that I've seen a thousand times that he can't stand or I go to bed early. I do always treat myself to a good dinner since I know he's doing the same.

Oh my goodness my husband was away for 5 days when I was pretty sure that I was pregnant. It was killing me!!! I had a few nights where my friends stopped by and we just ate lots of delicious foods and watched movies...Especially father of the bride!! Great movie

my husband travels too - about once a month... i usually do girly stuff like baths, plucking, masks and also catch up on reading magazines.

5 days is a long time, though. he usually goes away for a night or two but recently went to Asia for 5 nights and it stunk! i couldn't wait for him to get home...

I feel the same about going to bed! DH is in the Marines and in the field a lot or on duty...(like tonight)...and I try to motivate myself to do homework, or read or something..

Lots of good ideas I may do pizza since that's what I've been craving anyways and the kids will be excited and the mention of a bath sounds very enticing. I couldn't imagine if my husband was in the service and gone for months on end that would be unfathomable and I respect those ladies that hold it together so well while there away!
