I am in no way looking to turn DS to be forward facing any time soon but...just wanted to know when this is usually done and if there is a website or anything with info on this?

they have to be one year and 20lbs to turn it around. Although when I had ours inspected I was told if her feet are hitting the seat and her knees have to bend then we have to turn it around.

Really? Who told you this? Not flaming, just curious because all I've ever heard and read was that it's perfectly fine for their legs to bend in the RF position. I've seen many toddlers sitting cross-legged in their RF seat.
