Ah not yet...but thanks for asking! With my first scan and bloodwork, my odds were 1:165. When I went back less than a week later and told him I really wanted a CVS, he told me he wouldn't do it. He said I had nothing to worry about and that he didn't want to do the CVS because it was risky due to placement, etc. He made me feel better.
I scheduled my next ultrasound with him on 4-8. I told him I also wanted an amnio at that time- to which he said "ya, we will see." The fact is that I am way to much of a worrier to not get it so I am going to really push for it (meaning "no" isn't an option this time). The only thing he may get me on is it being early (16 weeks) but worst case scenario, I will back it up a week or two after the ultrasound. I really like and trust the specialist so that helps. I just want to know everything is fine. I am sure you can agree that the wait is semi-agonizing!
I am so happy your results were good- sorry you had to wait so long to get them! You're more of a trooper about it than I would have been
