I am going to get it this afternoon and I was wondering is it a shot in the bum? My nurse never mentioned where I just thought I read that on a post a while back. TIA

Yep, shse had me bend over the table and gave me the shot in my left butt cheek.

it's on your lower hip/ upper butt area. it's not a bad shot at all, and i'm a wuss.

I have heard of people getting it in the arm, but mine was always in the hip/butt area.

And for me, it burned going in. When I had my amnio, the rhogam shot hurt the worst of everything!!!

Yup, in the bum. I've had it 4 times now between my 2 pregnancies (DH and I are RH incompatible). I will say that 2 times it burned and 2 times it didn't, so I'm guessing it may have something to do with the technique of the nurse giving it?? I dunno.
