What nursing bra do you LOVE (not $$$$)?

What brand do you recommend?  I got some from Motherhood when I was nursing my DD, but they're not very comfortable and are all worn out/yucky now anyway, so I'd like some new, comfy, possibly-even-pretty ones that don't cost a fortune. Tall order!

  • If 'not costing a fortune' is $35-70, have I got the bras for you!

Nursing bras by Anita are really fantastic. They look great and hold up, and have a great intuitive clippy thingy... and make my girls look pert and perky!

    here's an internet supplier:

(ok, they aren't foofy fancy, but they're prettier than most, and even come in black!)

They sell them at Nordstrom... if you have one near you, you could try them on.

Freya, one of my favorite bra brands before having DD, actually makes one nursing bra that looks really pretty, too...

I haven't tried this bra, but I can say that pre-baby, Freya was a great bra for holding the girls up in a good position, and looking really pretty in the process.  It's in the $50-$60 range.

Hopefully these don't seem too spendy. I've discovered that if I buy cheaper nursing bras, they die quickly and painfully... once you cross that $40-ish threshold, you're into much better quality.

    Good luck!

  • I love the Duo Maternity Microfiber Wireless Nursing bra. It is the only one I like! You can find it at JC Penney for about $24. It's my fave!

  • I second Anita bras.  I could not find ANYTHING that was comfortable until I was finally fitted and tried on an Anita.  Whew, soooooo comfortable and I'm sad I only bought one so I think I'm investing in another.

They are middle of the road in cost if you ask me but it's soooo worth it to be comfortable.

  • I have a pretty big chest size even before my munchkin and nursing bras did not support me at all. So I'm still in regular bras mine are from federicks and lane bryant.

  • I lived in target nursing tanks! It has a shelf bra and is the most comfortable nursing" bra" ever and they are only $16 a piece. Not very pretty but very functional.
  • I am in love with Bravado Silk Seamless nursing bras. I got mine from the LC at the hospital where they fit me with the right size. It was $40 which is cheaper than on the company website.?

  • I've gotten some really comfortable ones at Burlington Coat Factory. You have to hunt to find them. But they are in the maternity section usually along the wall. Sometimes they are mixed in w/the other bras. They are all 7.99!!
