Over the weekend there was an accident involving a police officer driving on the wrong side of the road, it is suspected she was driving drunk and she killed 4 people, and injured one. She is in critical condition at the local hospital. The debate is if she should be charged with murder, or manslaughter. Also, if she should be held to a higher account since she is supposed to be a servant of the law.WDYT?
This is a link to an article about the story: Not the debate, but just an overview.
Re: NBR: Debate on our local radio...WDYT?
Ah yes.... I think she should be charged the same way a normal person would be charged. If a normal drunk driver who killed somebody gets manslaughter than I think that's what she should get. Times 4 since 4 ppl were killed...
I don't think anybody should be help in higher esteem or less esteem based on what they do, our their past life history, race gender, age etc. Everyone should be treated equally.
Should she recover though, I think she should NEVER be able to be in anytype of law enforcement again. including security at six flags! :0
