I was told the doc doesn't change your due date unless there is a larger than 5 day difference. I've measured ahead at every appt by 2-3 days and have not changed my ticker.
I have the same question! My ticker is set at my adjusted date, but b/c it is only around a 5 day difference my OB may keep my due date according to LMP! I am thinking about changing it, now that I am officially out of my first tri either way!
I measured 2 days ahead last time, and we just kept my due date where it was. I didn't want to get ahead of myself. I figure it will be most important towards the end to make me less anxious.

Nope b/c most doc will not change your edd. I've been measuring 10-11 days ahead since 20wks. I've had u/s done at the perinatal office every week the last month and Bailey is a big boy but they won't change it. Everyone including my perinatal doc said that the early u/s is more accurate then the later ones. The later you are in pregnancy the less accruate your u/s will become.
My doc was like your due date is an estimate...so why change the ticker? its not like that ticker is going to make the baby come on that day..just a thought.
I changed mine, but only because the baby's measurement on the u/s confirmed what I already knew about when I conceived. By all accounts, I'm 11w 3d today, not 10w 6d! I don't care if my doc won't technically change my due date, four days is four days, and I'm going with it!

My baby girl measured ahead at a bunch of the u/s I had but I never changed my due date. It is very common for the baby to have growth spurts at certain times so at one u/s the baby can measure ahead or behind and then at the next be right on time. I have measured right on time the past few weeks even though at some of the u/s the baby measured big. I don't think dr's change due dates unless it is a significant change. 2 days really isn't a big deal.
I was told I am 2 days ahead today and the dr said that was my official due date. ?They only go by the LMP until this ultrasound. ?But I have not changed my ticker. ?I am still deciding! ?Also if they go by length, does the fact that my husband and I are tall have anything to do with it and this young age?
I haven't changed my ticker. I am measuring a few days ahead (my last u/s showed 6 days ahead). Mainly, I am not changing it because I know the day I ovulated (November 10th) (I had an IUI done). Also, I kinda figure Baby will get here when she gets here )
after my 12 week u/s, I was measuring 8 days ahead. ?Then at my "big" sonogram, I was measuring 2 more days ahead. ?My dr won't change my due date, but I changed my ticker because it makes me feel better. ?If he doesn't come when my ticker says he will, then oh well, I just like to see it a little ahead.
my earliest u/s confirmed my O date to be correct, so I left my tickers the same no matter how far ahead he measured. At 12 weeks he was 3 days ahead andby late pg some parts of him measured 3-4 weeks ahead and others were "behind" or right on track within a few days so it all evened out. Changing tickers, IMO, doesn't change when nature thinks you are due (via your O date or whatever).
