Did anyone see what happened with Witty on BOTB?

I can see where some may have taken it the wrong way , but I seriously don't think she meant anything by it. I hope she doesn't leave the boards altogether b/c of what happend over there. I go over there often, and they are almost always nice to me, but I can see where things got taken out of context.

She rather flew off the handle a bit. BOTB is just not the place to post w/out knowing who the regulars are. I don't post over there, b/c I've been flamed by them and don't particularly care to repeat the experience- but I do find many of the girls to be really funny and smart, even though there are a few regulars who I would never post there because of. She'll be fine if she just steers clear- lurking has it's merits.

Melissa, I know you mean well but I don't think she needed you drawing attention to it on this board. Lots of people don't go over there but did now to see what you were talking about. If you left it alone she probably wouldn't have been embarrassed by the SALers knowing about it too.

In Melissa's defense, I found out about it from the "please take notsowittykitty" post below- it struck my curiousity enough to go and do some searching on BOTB- by the 100+ responses, I'm sure I wasn't the only one. Posting the link just took out the middle man.

I'm sorry Kathy. I wasn't trying to bring negative attention to Witty. If anything I was trying to show her some support. I think more people may have had it brought to their attention more by the post from the BOTB girls who came over here. If you think it will make her feel better/less embarrassed I will DD the post. I didn't mean to cause any problem.

I think we can let her know that we know how those boards are and she shouldn't be embarrassed. I got flamed the other day for doing a *test* when they could easily ignore it. I didn't know you could look at a previous post. Anyway, they don't make or break you so no need to feel bad about it. IMHO.

Yes, wow they are brutal. I don't think Witty has any reason to feel embarassed. I could not hang over there. I'm sure I would do something flameworthy.

I didn't see any of it nor do I want to cuz I'm already ticked that they couldn't leave that crap on their own board!! <---I'm not blaming Witty at all but I hate drama and thats why I stay here and lurk on other boards. I SOOOO wanted to say something but thought better of it, I don't want to see it turn into the PL drama a few months back. Why can't everyone just play nice??? ;-)
