HSG Question

I'm doing my first round of Clomid this month along with an HSG.  My OB/Gyn told me to come in for the HSG on Day 10.  That's usually when I ovulate.  Do you think I should schedule it for earlier?  We are going to BD just in case the combo of Clomid and HSG helps increase our chances.

    you don't want to be ovulating during the HSG, so you should go in around CD 5 or 6. that's when i was told to go and it was fine.
    Me: 44 DH: 42. DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09. TTC since then with no luck or ART. Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.

    i would definetly bring that up to your doctor.  i was told to go between day 7-10.

    and be forewarned.  take ibuprofen before you go!  i'm normally ok with pain but they had a hard time finding my cervix. and oy vey that hurt. but some people have no problem

    I would reschedule it for a couple days earlier. I think the earliest it can be is CD 7.

    You should definitely try and get it moved to cd 7 or 8...I was also o'ing early like cd 10 or 11 and the clomid pushed it to 14 this cycle...I was freaking out that I missed it...boy was I wrong when the O pains came!
