This is my first pregnany and I have heard that you can start to feel kicks around 12 weeks. Does anyone know if this is true? That seems a little early to me but hopefully it's true : )
I think the norm is between 18-22 weeks but I have heard people feel flutters and things around week 16ish...I'm still waiting patiently and this is my 3rd.
I have been told 16 weeks maybe but most like 20weeks. however i was at the doctor today and she asked me if i had felt any hiccups or movements (not like heavy kicking or anything) and i told her who knows because i feel a lot of things and just attribute them all to gas....lol.
12 weeks? That is WAY early, especially for a first pregnancy. I was told to not expect anything before 18-20 weeks (but I was lucky to start feel flutters/pops at 14weeks).
I'm in my first pregnancy as well. And I first felt flutters (more like a fish flopping around) at about 18 weeks, and from there on it got stronger and more frequent. I felt actual "kicks" more around 21 weeks. I'm now 26 weeks and feel movement everyday, kicks and rolling. It's pretty cool!
Re: So when should I start to feel the baby kick?
It's different for everyone..... Here's a link to a post that asked a similar question just a page behind: https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/12929359.aspx
PS - tickers are required here in 2nd Tri.
This was already posted awhile back:
