What do you use. I dont really like the smell of the Cocoa Butter but I cant find anything else! I know they used to have Curel for that but I havent been able to find it.. Anyone have suggestions?
my sister got me "sexy belly" by "Carol's daughter" from Macy's. i think it's probably around $25or $30 for a jar, but a little goes a loooong way & it doesn't smell. it's incredibly moisturizing though & this winter when it was super cold & dry it did amazing things for my itchy belly.
I use the Palmer's stretch mark massage cream. It contains cocoa butter, but actually smells medicinal, not like coconut. You might also want to check out Burt's Bees Wax line for expectant mothers. Honestly though, there isn't a product out there that will make the slightest difference if you are destined to get stretch marks; the products are all topical, where as stretch marks are the result of much deeper tissue stretching. The creams do help with itchiness and dryness though as your belly grows, so if you don't find a belly cream you like, just use any intense moisturizing lotion that you do like.
I have been using the Bath & Body Works body butter....it is really thick and smells great comes in lots of different flavors and as the previous poster said, if you are going to get the stretch marks, you are just going to get them unfortuately but the creams make you feel like you can stretch more and helps with itchiness!!
Re: Belly Lotion
Right now I am using Mama Mio. I really like the smell.
