I've just used a little bit of Aquaphor (is that the correct spelling?!) for DD, and it seems to clear it up right away! And a little goes a long way too, so far so good! I put it on after her bath before her jammies, and by morning it seems to clear up!
We had really bad flair ups when we used Johnson and Johnson products. We changed to Arbonne baby wash and lotion and then we use baby eczema cream (Has pooh on the front) for flair ups.... we have had 100x fewers flair ups since we switched over though. We now maybe get once a month for a day or two of a little tiny flair up, nothing like we used to

Vaseline on top of St. Ives mineral therapy lotion. And I know this might sound weird, but DS had an extremely irritated bad spot on his leg that I put Crisco on. It was in a home remedy book and it made it 50% better overnight.
Aveeno lotion twice a day, Aquaphor on cheeks and really dry patches, sometimes I mix 1% cortisone in her lotion if she's itchy. I try to only bathe every 2-3 days and use Aveeno baby oatmeal bath instead of soap some baths. GL!
My SIL uses California Baby Calendula Cream for her DS's eczema and it has really worked. ?I use it for DD's scalp, diaper rash, dry skin, etc. ?I bought it at Target.?
Re: what's your magic potion?
Sorry, no magic potion, but CerVe wash was the only thing I could bathe him in and the only lotion that worked.
how did you know that it was bad enough to get a prescription? We were wondering if we should take her to the doctors...
