XP: Does anyone manually express BM?

If so, I have some thoughts/questions.  I pump regularly, but due to a fortunate accident, I think I may be able to manually express milk as well.  TIA!

    I have... when I was pumping full-time at work, I found I could express milk just about as fast manually, it was just a lot more work. So while I used a pump most of the time, I wasn't afraid to manually express when the situation called for it.

    I also forgot my pump once on a three-day business trip. My daughter was 15 months old by that point and only nursing AM/PM, so I didn't have to manually express for 8 sessions a day or anything crazy like that, but I was able to express enough to keep my supply up and engorgement away.

    Mommy to DD1 (June 2007), DS (January 2010), DD2 (July 2012), and The Next One (EDD 3/31/2015)
